I'm Alex Cohen, photographer

Capturing life's beauty one shot at a time, living one moment at a time.

After finding sobriety in the summer of 2014, my perspective on life began to shift. At some point in my journey, I became more involved in photography than ever before, discovering a new way to connect with the world. Through my lens, I seek to capture the beauty in everyday moments and offer fresh perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed. My images are meant to evoke emotion, drawing viewers into the story behind each shot—whether through landscapes, portraits, or fine art photography.
Recovery has shaped not just my art, but my life as a whole. I’m grateful for the journey that led me here and for the family that keeps life full and busy. My wife and I have seven kids, whose ages range from their mid-20s to elementary school, and three dogs who add to the chaos in the best way. Though we live in separate homes—hers in Erie, Pennsylvania, and mine in Eastlake, Ohio—family remains at the heart of everything. We both love to travel and capture moments along the way, whether exploring new places or simply making the familiar drive between Ohio and Pennsylvania. Amid the movement and change, I find inspiration in the connections, resilience, and beauty that surround me every day.
